After trial and a few errors, I have finally found the hydration belt that works for me!! One belt was totally off on sizing, one felt like I had an external bladder, and this one is juuuuuuuuuuuuuust right!

It's Lululemon's hydration belt - made just for them by Amphipod. I love the fabric they used, its stretchy and comfortable and super breathable. When I finished my run last night I expected the fabric to be wet and sweaty (because after a run in 90 degrees, I surely was) and it wasn't bad at all!
The belt is one size fits all and was really easy to adjust. Having never run with a belt before, there was some mid-run adjustment, but that was just me getting used to it. It's SO great to be able to have water with you on a run without having to hold a water bottle and feel the water sloshing around with every stride you make. Oh, one other thing, when I was in the store trying this belt out, I was concerned that taking the bottles in and out would be cumbersome and require TWO hands...WRONG! Once they are filled with water, , its much easier to maneuver the bottles and I was able to use one hand to get the bottles in and out at all points of my run!
Another great thing about this belt, is its pouch! It has a clear front and inside are two pockets, plenty of room for a phone, keys, ID, gels, etc.
And best of all, it STAYS PUT - no bouncing, whether the bottles are full or empty. The velcro on the front is super reliable, never had to adjust it in fear it was about to come loose, and the reflector fabric around the belt's edges make it great for evening runs!
I am so happy I finally found a hydration belt that works for me. It's definitely a very personal preference, I know some people are totally against them, some like Camelbaks, some like the had held bottles. But with runs upwards of 13 miles coming up, I am happy I found something that works for me!
And finally, on this Friday, a brand spankin new playlist to get you through the weekend (and lets be honest, this will be on repeat for me pretty much the rest of the month!). When we were in Cancun, eek - almost a month ago, they played the BEST music at the pools. Some reggae, latin, pop and everything in between. This playlist was definitely inspired by my pool time, but makes me want to MOVE!
1) Shake Senora - Pitbull (*if you ever saw the move Beetlejuice - this will bring back amazing memories, trust me)
2) Bailando Por Ahi - Juan Morgan
3) Danza Kudro - Don Omar
4) Rain Over Me - Pitbull
5) Bumpy Ride - Mohombi
6) Pause - Pitbull
7) If I Die Young (Factory Eurobeat Remix) - Plaza People
8) Scream - Usher
9) Back in Time - Pitbull
10) Dance Again - JLo
Welp, typing that out, I guess Pitbull is taking over my musical preferences right now #idonthateit.
Have a great weekend!!
